As the contract for the MANU AO Academy has ceased, please feel free to utilise the on-line resources available.

The MANU AO goal of advancing Māori scholarship is achieved through the following principal activities:

  • Weekly seminars presented by well-known speakers on contemporary issues with the prime audience being academics, general staff, and students.
  • Named Lectures by prominent senior Māori scholars on aspects of Māori scholarship.
  • Academic Fora on a relevant topic to academics where parameters of Māori scholarship are clarified and implications for tertiary education policy identified.
  • Scholar Interviews involves experiences of former or current senior Māori scholars recorded on video and transcribed for teaching and research purposes, including publication (still to come).
